VINTAGE CAT ART: PUSS IN BOOTS (1875) - Famous cat illustration by the British artist Walter Crane (1845 - 1915).
WALTER CRANE was born in Liverpool, England, son of a miniaturist. Along with his wonderful illustrations of children's books, he played a major role in the Arts & Crafts movement. Many of his Arts & Crafts designs continue to be reprinted today, and are used for fine fabrics and wallpapers.
