VINTAGE CAT ART: PUSS IN BOOTS (1875) - Wonderful kitty cat illustration by the famous British artist Walter Crane (1845-1915).
WALTER CRANE was born in Liverpool, England, son of a miniaturist. Along with his wonderful illustrations of children's books, he played a major role in the Arts & Crafts movement. Many of his Arts & Crafts designs continue to be reprinted and are used today for fine fabrics and wallpapers.
