Vintage Pet Art Gifts - Dog, Cat, Horse Portraits and Classics > VINTAGE DOG ART > BASEBALL DOGS
| BASEBALL DOGS: In the early 1900s C. M. Coolidge was commissioned to produce 16 paintings for the advertising firm of Brown & Bigelow. All the paintings in the series feature dogs performing human activities. His poker playing dogs are the most famous, but he also painted dogs on a commuter train and playing sports such as baseball. This is the baseball painting, "One to Tie, Two to Win."
